Local boys take on Kentucky

On Jan. 15, Mississippi State University, coached by Meade County High School alumnus Rick Stansbury, took on the University of Kentucky Wildcats and won 69-64. Their seventh straight win, this victory helped the Bulldogs to a 3-0 start in Southeastern Conference play.
