Meade County Fair a winner
Fair board attends KAFHS Convention
Members of the Meade County Fair board attended the 61st annual Kentucky Association of Fairs and Horse Shows Convention in Louisville at the Galt House Hotel Jan. 10-13. Every year the members go to the convention to start their planning for the coming year’s fair. There is a trade show, showcase of talent acts, and seminars on various fair-related topics. This is an excellent opportunity to get new ideas from other fairs and to come up with new events or ways to improve upon the events the fair already has.

Andrea Pike-Goff, (right) Family Resource Center coordinator, and Susie Barr, FRC assistant coordinator, were presented the Harry J. Cowherd Award during a ceremony in the gym at Brandenburg Primary Jan. 25.
