End of a great Greenwave season

Another festive atmosphere permeated the gym at Meade County March 4. The “Camouflage Crazies” were subdued by the administration for safety reasons – both theirs and the teams playing – but the stands were full, and the Meade County Pep Band was in full swing, belting out songs with a strong rhythm and inspiring the fans to cheer the Greenwaves to victory. On the opposite side of the hall, the Muhlenberg South Suns had a large contingent of followers who made the two-and-a-half-hour trek to cheer on their team. While no band accompanied them, their full squad of cheerleaders did, so the South Suns were well represented by fans.

Lady Waves fall in region opener

After winning the 11th District title with considerable ease, the Meade County Lady Wave basketball team looked to make their mark in the 3rd Region tournament.
