Tennis, anyone?

Tennis is a warm weather sport, except in Brandenburg. On March 25, the Meade County High School tennis teams took on the Bulldogs of John Hardin in what could be called less than ideal conditions. It was cold, the wind was blowing quite hard from many directions and it was cold.

Lady Wave softball off and running

Despite the tornado, snow and heavy rains, Meade County Lady Wave softball began the 2008 softball season with a flurry. With Meade Olin Park still picking up the pieces from inclement weather, the Lady Waves had to readjust their original schedule to begin their 2008 campaign by cancelling some home games and playing their first couple games on the road.
