Lady Waves’ bats wake up and claim the district tournament #1 seed
Victories against Hancock County and Breckinridge County place the Lady Wave softball in the top spot
After a 3-6 loss against Christian Academy of Louisville on April 24, the Meade County Lady Wave softball team acquired their longest losing streak of the season, three games. With the Allen County tournament on the schedule for the weekend of April 25 and 26, Coach Harreld looked to rally his girls’ season and get them back on the right track.
Meade County tennis makes a strong showing against Fort Knox
On April 29, the Meade County boys’ and girls’ tennis teams stormed the tennis courts at Doe Valley to take on Fort Knox High School. Earlier in the month when the two teams met, the boys’ came out victorious, 4-1, and the girls’ struggled in a close 3-2 loss.
Meade drops a close one to Breck
The Greenwave baseball team hosted the Breckinridge County Tigers April 29, hoping to avenge the loss they suffered the week before.
Brittini Schmidt signs with St. Catharine College
In the presence of her teammates, parents, coaches and administration, Meade County High School senior Brittini Schmidt signed her letter of intent and committed to play volleyball at St. Catharine College in Louisville.
