Lady Waves named to All District team
Five members of the Meade County High School softball team were named to the All District team, an award voted on by the coaches in the district.
Lady Waves fall in district thriller
The high school athletics post season can bring some of the greatest games, and when you add a rivalry like the Meade-Breck, you get games to remember. Meade County swept the season series with the Lady Tigers in winning 2-1 at home and 3-1 in Hardinsburg. The Lady Tigers were eyeing their fourth 11th District title in a row, and Meade County was seeking their first since joining the district.
Lynn’s AC wins qualifying tourney
Lynn’s AC (Athletic Club) softball team captured a D world qualifying tournament May 11 at Kentuckiana Sports Complex, in Louisville.
