Celebrating Meade County graduation
Photos by Nancy Kaufman
Meade County High School held its 94th commencement service June 6 under clear skies. For the first time, the graduates entered Hamilton Field from the new addition to Meade County High School, processing down the stairway as the MCHS band played “Pomp and Circumstance.” Valedictorian Kelly Ann Beglin and salutatorian Jennifer Sue Hail addressed their classmates, and special music was performed by the senior members of the chorus and band. Principal Bill Adams presented awards, followed by the awarding of diplomas by Superintendent Mitch Crump and assistant principals David Dailey, Scott Bogard, Chad Butler and Bob Schrader.
