A great season for Meade archers

Members of the Payneville Elementary School archery team had a successful 2007-2008 season, bringing home a regional first-place trophy and a third-place state trophy.
Cannady signs with Presbyterian College
In the presence of his teammates, parents and family, coaches, and administration, Meade County High School senior J.L. Cannady signed his letter of intent and committed to play football at Presbyterian College in Clinton, S.C.
U12 Strykers take first in Keltic Classic
The Meade County U12 Strykers took first place in the 2008 Keltic Classic Soccer Tournament held in Glasgow May 31 and June 1, beating Fern Creek in the championship game.
U-10 Gators win Keltic Klassic
The U-10 Vine Grove Gators defeated five opponents enroute to winning the 2008 Keltic Klassic Soccer Tournament held in Glasgow May 31 and June 1.
