Greenwave basketball camp
The future of Meade County Greenwave basketball was in action this past week when local 1st through 9th-graders stormed the court for the 27th annual Greenwave Basketball Camp. Coach Jerry Garris deemed the week a success as these future ballers learned ball handling drills and other fundamental drills while competing in shooting, one-on-one, three-on-three, and five-on-five matches.
U-10 Lady Waves – fastpitch champs
The Meade County U-10 Lady Waves competed in the 2008 Kentucky USSSA Worth Memorial Fastpitch Classic May 23-24 at Fort Knox and finished with a championship.
Fun and successful season
The teeball season came to an end for the Orioles June 2.
