Meade County Fair tractor pull will be televised on RFD-TV
This summer, the Meade County Fair will have the opportunity to show viewers across the nation exactly why it was named Grand National Pull of the Year in 2006 – its very first year with the National Tractor Pullers Association (NTPA).
‘Hats off to Homemakers’
“Hats off to Homemakers” was the theme of the 60th annual meeting of the Meade County Extension Homemakers and the 75th anniversary of Kentucky Extension Homemakers June 26 at the Extension office. This meeting was a celebration of all the years of Homemakers, a chance for a good meal, a time to socialize with friends and an opportunity to recognize the achievements of clubs and individual members.
Local team plans second medical mission to Honduras
“If you want to make a difference in someone else’s life and change your own, consider a mission trip,” said Claudia Stull, missions team leader at Brandenburg United Methodist Church and a passionate missionary.
