MADISON HARDY
Madison Hardy led the Asics Kentucky Indiana Volleyball Academy (KIVA) to the championship of the Junior Volleyball Directors Association Championships at Freedom Hall June 29.
The KIVA Red team beat Illinois’ First Alliance Silver 25-17, 25-16, 21-25, and 25-14 in the 17 open final.
Hardy, who was selected as the tournament MVP, had 20 kills, 16 digs, five blocks, and three aces. She will be a senior at Mercy Academy and has committed to play at Miami of Ohio.
Hardy is the daughter of Mark and LeAnn (Straney) Hardy, Louisville, and the granddaughter of Shirley Straney, Brandenburg, and C.G. Straney, Vine Grove.
