The Brandenburg Telephone Company float captured the top prize in the 2009 Meade County Fair parade July 19. The parade annually announces the start of another fair week. High temperatures in the low 80s and comfortable evening weather is predicted for the week, which could help the fair eclipse another attendance record. The parade also featured antique autos, horses, several church groups and emergency vehicles.
