2009 Meade County Fair
The 2009 Meade County Fair week kicked off in style – literally – with a 5K run July 18. It just wouldn’t be a parade without clowns, kids – even this overgrown one (below) – and musicians. All of the above and more marched through Brandenburg in perfect weather for the fair parade.
The annual fair parade featured music, demolition derby cars and horses, among others. By the time she had reached the street in front of the post office, this little tyke, right, had already had enough of the fair – and the parade. Other events at the beginning of the fair, July 18 and 19, included the western horse show in the arena and the motocross.
