Students compete for spelling bee honors

Muldraugh fine lowered by state officials

The state has lowered Muldraugh’s wastewater fine to $2,500, but Mayor Danny Tate and council members continued their push to eradicate the issue which caused the problem in the first place.

Corvette club aids area food bank

Classic Corvettes KY Club recently collected food and clothing at their Christmas party for a donation to Helping Hands in Elizabethtown. Pictured, left to right, are Bob Schramm, Helping Hands volunteer, Gary Ross, Helping Hands Executive Director, Henry White, Melvin Gregory, Bob Beyerlein and Debbie Beyerlein. Classic Corvettes KY, located in Elizabethtown, is a club of local Corvette owners who enjoy meeting and driving their old and new Corvettes. The club is open to all area Corvette owners and meets on the second Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Elizabethtown Airport.
