Meade County was the host site for the fourth and final KBF Team Circuit Qualifying tournament Aug. 21. A total of 53 boats with 103 men and three women were in the competition.

Summer Concert Series begins with the Betweeners and the Zarb Brothers

The 2005 Summer Concert Series will kick off Aug. 28 at 4 p.m.
Presented by the Meade County Museum and Arts Council, the Meade County Public Library and the Kentucky Arts Council, the concert series, now in its third year, brings a variety of musical performers to the amphitheater at Brandenburg’s riverfront park.

Meade County Senior Citizens Center update

The Meade County Senior Citizens Center - a place where seniors eat and socialize with others in life’s “golden years” – is still as active as ever with something offered for everyone. Unfortunately, the center’s funding is tight and, in particular, the cost of providing meals has been a challenge in recent years.
