Abandoned property on Doe Run/Ekron Road – what’s the remedy?

Meade County’s Abandoned Property Ordinance – what’s the status?

Meade County does indeed have an abandoned property ordinance on the books. Well, at least some people think it does. County Attorney Darren Sipes says we most certainly do. However, when this reporter contacted Judge William Haynes about obtaining a copy of the ordinance, he asked this reporter which one she wanted. Muldraugh City Council addresses sewer line rehab grant and sexually oriented business issues

A special meeting of the Muldraugh City Council was held on Aug. 22. Present were Mayor Danny Tate and council members Irvin Davis, Donnie Basham, Ron Heschke, Curtis Kelley, and Linda Toler. The purpose of the meeting was to address a resolution accepting the infrastructure grant, approve the grant agreement, authorize the amendment of local budget, and authorize a representative to sign all related documents. Pets in Need Society receives $10,000 spay/neuter grant

Pets in Need Society (PINS) of Meade County, a nonprofit organization, is pleased to announce it has received another spay/neuter grant in the amount of $10,000. The grant is effective immediately and monies can be used until the funds are depleted. Click Here For Full Story
