Good Sams pay annual visit to Meade County

The Good Sam Club got its start 40 years ago when a handful of RV owners put “Good Samaritan” bumper stickers on their rigs so fellow members would know they could get help on the road. This initially small club grew into a much larger one, with over 2,000 local chapters (24 of them are in Kentucky), one million RVing families, and 17,000 Good Sam parks. The club’s primary goal remains the same as from the club’s early days – to make RVing safe and enjoyable and to save members money through the club’s benefits and services.

USPS’s “Deliver Me Home” recovers 46th child

The next time you grab the daily mail out of your mailbox, don’t just throw away the “Have you seen me?” card that features photographs of missing children and/or adults. While most of us consider them “junk mail,” these postcards have actually helped recover over 140 missing children.
