To the Messenger: Let me start off by saying that we have lived here since 1993. As of 2006 we have ran into a major problem with our so called neighbors. They (1 man and 2 women) have decided to lay out naked in the front yard, run around outside naked, and have sex on the front porch in the view of my young son and nephew who are both two years old. I asked them as nicely as I could if they were going to continue to lay out nude to go around to the back of the trailer so the children would not see. One of the females informed me that it was private property on a private road and she could do as she pleased and that she couldn’t lie out back because the grass wasn’t cut. Sometimes it was just topless but with underwear that didn’t fit and was pulled way up in the butt crack. Sorry but I think that is imposing on a minor, me, and my visitors. We do not want see that! So I called the county police and they made me feel like I was being laughed at. It was not a laughing matter to me. They proceeded to tell me that it was not illegal to run around topless the law states that it’s illegal for genitalia to show and female breast where not considered genitalia! So then I called the state police. They were on their way when the county police called and said that they were out here so the state police canceled their run. When the county police arrived they told them that it wasn’t illegal to run around topless. But, asked them to take it around back or try to shield themself. Then the day after the police came they was out there again so I video taped them so I could show the cops. They started cussing me and my sister and told us that it wasn’t illegal to be topless but it was to video tape them. So, I have my video tape and I call the state police again. I explained to them how we have to keep the children in when they are out there nude or topless. So when I called state police again the police officer was very upset about the situation. He came out here and as soon as he turned on the road they got up and got dressed before he could see them. They knew the police was coming because they called them on me when I was video taping them. The police officer told them that if he had to come out here again because of this that someone was going to jail! He was upset, I showed him the tape but it wasn’t that good of a view to where he could see what he needed to see because they wouldn’t move while I had the camera on them. They haven’t been nude for the past couple of days (so far). They are causing other problems. Playing their music loud, calling the dog warden, speeding up and down the road, and peeling out gravel; when they take off while the children are playing in the yard. This is a jealous act being taken out on everyone; children, family, friends, and so on. It is crazy that people have too much time on their hands that all they want to do is cause problems. My household works we are gone a lot of the time 10-12 hours a day working (a word that some people need to learn). Why couldn’t they lay out nude while we was at work and wasn’t any children home? Why can’t people be respectful and leave other peoples family and lives alone. We don’t talk to anyone on the road cause we want to be left alone. I see how good that works. I have called and talked to the county attorney, county police, state police, and a local church. No one wants to touch this issue but it needs to be addressed! There are children involved here and this is why my mom moved us down here to the country so we wouldn’t have to worry about this crap! Desperate Neighbors
