To the Messenger:

I am writing concerning the reporting on the insurance issue with Judge Haynes. It’s ironic that once again things are reported with no attempt to get the other side of the story. Your paper even went as far as to make the statement that you wished we would explain our side on the vote concerning Judge Haynes’ insurance. However no one ever tried to contact me via telephone, fax, or email. Click Here For Full Story

To the Messenger:

I’m writing in reference to the horses that were featured in articles in the June 14 issue of the Messenger. These horses live on a 2.03-acre property by the Meade County Extension Office on Old Ekron Road.

To the Messenger:

Let me start off by saying that we have lived here since 1993. As of 2006 we have ran into a major problem with our so called neighbors. They (1 man and 2 women) have decided to lay out naked in the front yard, run around outside naked, and have sex on the front porch in the view of my young son and nephew who are both two years old. Desperate Neighbors

In my opinion...

Spc. Joshua Guitterez of the 4th ID today is lying in a hospital bed in Germany, having lost part of his leg while on a mission to help find the two missing soldiers from the 101st. And another of his buddies may be up for a Bronze Star for rescuing him from a burning vehicle. I hope we all, everyone in this country, America, the world in general stop to reflect on the heroism of our military, both on foreign soil and those who serve us here, on American soil. Why must we focus on a small group involved in an incident at Haditha, or Abu Ghraib, or wherever. And now there are three from the 101st who are up on charges for murder, as well as the Marines and sailors who are charged with murdering the Iraqi civilian. I am sure they will get plenty of press, won’t they? I’m just so tired of this!! Click Here For Full Story
