Trenching into the past

This photo was taken during the installation of a sewer hookup for the Schwartz Building (former chiropractor’s office) located on Old State Road. The location is now rental property across from Meade County High School. A state inspector is standing on the left side of the trench. In the trench are James Lawson, Owen Sharp (deceased) and Paul Coates. Standing on the right side of the trench are two unknown individuals, Elwood Morgan, Barney Johnston, Mayor Faust and J.
