Meade County Farm Bureau holds annual meeting

The Meade County Farm Bureau held its annual meeting Sept. 26 at the Farm Bureau Community Building. Approximately 100 members were present. Special guests in attendance were Rep. Gerry Lynn and Sen. Carroll Gibson. The two 2006 Outstanding Youth Contest winners were recognized. The female winner was Stephanie Frazier and the male winner was Justin Glasscock. The annual variety show was held with four outstanding contestants, pictured left, left to right: Lydia Richardson, Blaine Crigler, Thomas Shiroma and Blake Cox. The winner was Blaine Crigler and the runner-up was Blake Cox. Pictured at right: Meade County Extension Agent Jennifer Bridge received the Farm Bureau Community Service Award from Jeanna Turner.
