Meade County Saddle Club opens new arena

Meade County Saddle Club recently completed an arena on Fackler Road. The arena is 300 feet long by 110 feet wide, large enough for all events. President Danny Pollock and members Joy Pollock, Scotty Padgett, Jimmy Popham, Gary Algier, and Jerry and Rita Mills set the gates and worked the arena. For information on becoming a member, contact Danny Pollock at 547-3312. The next Saddle Club meeting will be held Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m. at Little Dave’s Down on the River in Brandenburg. A poker ride is scheduled for Nov. 25 at Otter Creek Park. For information, contact M.J. Popham at 496-4196 or Matt Fackler at 668-7447.
