PINS wreath festival supports Meade County animal welfare programs

Photos by Karen Kennedy
The seventh annual Pets in Need Society (PINS) Wreath Festival is being held at the Meade County Courthouse in Brandenburg through Friday, Dec. 8 during the normal courthouse hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The event kicked off with a reception on Sunday, Dec. 3. This year all wreaths and items purchased may be taken home at the time of purchase as opposed to previous years when items were left on display for the duration of the festival and picked up later in the week. All monies earned at the festival support PINS’ animal welfare programs and spay/neuter program, which has to date spayed and neutered almost 2,500 Meade County dogs and cats.
