Fort Knox troops given a taste of Meade County hospitality during June 18 tour

Brandenburg Mayor David Pace gives an impromptu guided tour of the Doe Run area to soldiers from the 3rd Core Support Command at Fort Knox. The soldiers, most of whom are senior level commanders, were touring the county to partake of our hospitality and area schools.

About 23 soldiers visited Meade County Monday morning, partaking of some Southern hospitality at the Doe Run Inn and learning about the county’s schools.

Brandenburg okays police officer in 2007-2008 budget; one council member doubts figures
