Scrapped:
Fiscal Court rejects all solid waste bids; will reopen process

After an hour of discussion and interaction between the Meade County Fiscal Court and three solid waste haulers, the decision was unanimous.


Barge, motorboat ‘tango’ on Ohio River at Otter Creek Park

Army Spc. Ryan Riedelman and Spc. Benjamin Aylor caught more than fish Monday night at the Otter Creek boat docks.

The duo were instrumental in the rescue of a 17-foot recreational boat following a collision with a barge, towed by the Charles E. Martin.
