Water district’s shop plans are moving forward

Camp TESSA offers hope and help for families affected by autism

In the 1980s, one in 10,000 children was born with autism, a social/communication disability. In less than two decades, that number has grown to one in every 150 children. There are approximately 1.5 million autistic children in the United States, and the number of diagnosed cases increases between 10 and 17 percent each year.
