Greenwaves roll into semifinals!
“We’re playing football on Thanksgiving weekend; it doesn’t get any better than that,” stated Coach Larry Mofield after his Greenwave football team won the District Championship against Nelson County Nov. 16. His opinion has probably changed a little since last Friday’s win at Male put Meade County into next weekend’s state semifinals.

Family Resource Center receives Award for Center Excellence
On Nov. 12 at a banquet at the Galt House in Louisville, the Family Resource Centers for David T. Wilson Elementary School and Brandenburg Primary School (affectionately known at KERAlot II) received the 2007 Harry J. Cowherd, M.D. Award for Center Excellence. Each year, one Family Resource Center, one Youth Services Center and one combined center is selected for this award.
