Some brief background – Joe, Bruce, myself, and other local bloggers occasionally get together for lunch and discuss many of the same issues that appear here in the Messenger. And no, we don’t sit around calling each other Nazis and Communists. We do exchange ideas and points-of-view and surprisingly to some I’m sure, do so without raising fists or voices to make a point. Letters should be 300 words or less and concern an issue of public interest. Longer letters MAY be run at the discretion of the editorial staff or may be edited to fit.
