Meade County PVA charged with cultivating marijuana

County Property Valuation Administrator Mark Straney has been charged with a misdemeanor for cultivating under five plants of marijuana.

Kentucky State Police Post 4 spokesperson Steve Pavey said last week KSP Det. Ezra Stout told him in passing Straney was charged.

Fiscal Court and judge executive still at odds over board appointment

Who’s on the Industrial Development Authority?
It depends on who you ask.

A spokesperson with the state Department of Local Government, citing KRS 154.50-326 states incumbent Harry Lee Lusk remains on the board until such time as his successor is appointed and qualified.
