Jury awards $2.5 million to defendant in Klan trial

A trial which placed Brandenburg on the national news media radar resulted in a $2.5 million settlement to defendant Jordan Gruver.

At issue is the appointment of IDA members, made by Craycroft without Fiscal Court consent. The county’s administrative code states Court approval is needed, while state law states otherwise.
