Engineering firm unveils new revised Riverport drawings The first redesign of the proposed Riverport concept was unveiled to authority members during their March 3 meeting by representatives of Garver Engineers. The Owensboro-based firm said the last time they presented plans, several months ago, they focused on the river aspect of the port, but these drawings reflect the overall project. Representative Chris Wilburn reviewed each drawing. They included an aerial view of the project, with silos and other projects seen as overlays. Wilburn has initially proposed two storage bins on site, capable of holding 125,000 bushels of grain each, but said the area could accommodate an additional two bins.
