Dead body found floating in Ohio River; foul play is not suspected, officials state

The Meade County Fire Protection District’s newest rescue craft, acquired late last year, was put to good use April 22.

Firefighters were summoned to assist with the report of a body floating in the Ohio River near Crosiers Bottom, according to Meade County Emergency Dispatch Director Mark Bennett.
