Ecuadorian experiences enlighten MCHS graduate The next time you see Meade County High School graduate and Western Kentucky University freshman Alex Richardson, ask him how much he enjoys guinea pig.
Meade County landmark reduced to rubble On March 18, a crew from Roger Law’s Recycling began demolition on the building which housed the former Pat’s Florist, as well as Boling’s Dry Goods many years ago. The building withstood the 1974 tornado as well as the tornado that struck Brandenburg in 2008 – but the old building was unable to withstand the sands of time. The wood from the building will be used as landfill and the metal will be recycled. Meade County tops in state for some health rankings “I think Meade County should congratulate itself on the basis of these rankings,” said Lincoln Trail Area Health Department regional epidemiologist Karen Card. ![]() Meade County FBLA brings home the gold from Region 2 conference On February 25, 2010, after a one-hour snow delay, 40 Meade County High School students traveled to Bowling Green Kentucky to compete in the annual Regional 2 Leadership Conference. These students competed in forty different events. The following results show the students who placed in regional competition and now advance to state competition in April:
