Irvington Railroad Festival attracts large crowd

Hundreds of people attended the annual Irvington Railroad Festival on May 15. A parade down the main street in Irvington was followed by a baby contest, cornhole tournament, silent auction and horse and train rides.
Entertainment was provided by the Boot Scootin’ Grannies, Courtney Farris, R&B singers “EDJ,” bluegrass band, “W.R. and Martha Huff and Friends,” the Breckinridge County High School dance team, “Sas-Z 7,” and Ryan Ross. Punkin Milburn worked the sound system. Six Guns Entertainment brought excitement with their western shootout re-enactment and Aaron’s World of “Seeing is Believing” astonished men, women and children with his magic.
Those who attended the festivities were also given chances at cash giveaways throughout the day.
