Christmas by the River to light up Nov. 27

It’s that time of year again! It’s time to get prepared for Brandenburg’s annual Christmas by the River festivities. Opening day for the gala event is Nov. 27 and the Christmas by the River committee has been working hard to ensure the daylong festival on the Ohio River is a success. Those interested in any aspect of the event – from entertaining and vending to volunteering your time to make it a success – should call Amy at Brandenburg City Hall. The number is (270) 422-4981. The day opens at noon with craft vendors, food vendors and entertainment in place until 6 p.m. The actual light-up and visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus are planned to start at 6 p.m.
