OPINION

Letter to the Editor

To the Messenger:

I just wanted to write a short note to thank residents and workers in Meade County for their honorable actions during the funeral of my brother, “Tony Farris” of Brandenburg.
I am from Louisville and was very impressed to see cars pull off the road; and people along the way (especially the road workers on Nov. 9 on 1638) remove their hats in respect as we passed by on the way to the cemetery. You don’t see that in Louisville.
Thank you, Meade County, for such respect.

The family of Tony Farris
Louisville
