Swimmers return victorious from Russell County
On Nov. 20, the Greenwaves swim team made the long journey to compete against 13 other in-state high school teams. The long bus ride home was made sweeter because they were accompanied by the overall first place trophy.

Cross-Country Championship held Nov. 4
The Meade County Elementary Cross-Country Championship was held Nov. 4, at the Brandenburg Telephone Company. Nearly 300 runners participated from the following schools: Payneville, Battletown, Ekron, Flaherty, DTW/BPS, Muldraugh and Cloverport. All runners received a ribbon and the top 25 girls/boys received medals in addition to the top three medal winners in each grade for boys and girls. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Brandenburg Telephone Company.
