Slow start in second half does in Greenwaves
A shootout took place in Campbellsville Dec. 10, and the Campbellsville Eagles came out in front, 75-62. Meade County and Campbellsville traded baskets back and forth in the first quarter and Meade trailed, 21-16. The Eagles were led in the first quarter by Matthew Davis, who hit three of his first four three-point attempts and by Jordan Percell, a 6-foot, 7-inch center, thought by many to be the top player in the 5th Region, who had some critical offensive rebounds throughout the game.

Emotions high as Lady Waves lose to rival Breckinridge County
“Anytime we play Breck, we don’t want to lose,” Forward Kristin Benton explained after the Lady Waves basketball team fought a highly emotional battle against neighboring rival, Breckinridge County Dec. 10 at Meade County High School.
