How the event is organized and what’s on the line
The PARI Universe is a $250,000, 10-team Dota 2 competition that opened with a round-robin group stage. All group matches were best-of-three. From each group, the top four teams advanced to a double-elimination playoff bracket; the bottom team in each group was eliminated. Playoff matches remain best-of-three until the championship showdown, which is a best-of-five. The title team takes the largest share of the prize pool: $125,000 total for first place (distributed as $80,000 to the players and $45,000 to the club).
