Come out and enjoy a Saturday with the Greenwave!

On this Saturday, Nov. 19, the Meade County Greenwave basketball team will host their annual Saturday with the Greenwave at the high school. The event involves basketball at every level in Meade County, from 5th- and 6th-grade youth basketball to high school varsity action. Click Here For Full Story


Meade does well at regional SOKY bowling tourney

The team from Meade County competed in the Special Olympics Regional Bowling Tournament in Louisville. The team did very well. Even more importantly, the athletes were well behaved and good sports. In short, they did a great job of representing Meade County. Click Here For Full Story


First year for youth cheerleaders

Meade County’s youth football teams are playing their first season with youth cheerleaders. There are seven teams of cheerleaders, with a total of 70 girls participating, each cheering on their respective teams which are sponsored by area businesses. Click Here For Full Story

Raymer wins Junior Bass Masters
