ARIELLE ENGLISH

Arielle English, a student at Meade County High School, will attend Presidential Classroom’s National Security in a Democracy Program July 15-22. Presidential Classroom, the leader in civic education, provides the best and brightest high school juniors and seniors unprecedented access to the leaders who shape America’s public policy. Participants will explore the role the government, military and private sector play in planning and executing defense and homeland security policy.

Bluegrass Homemakers hold meeting

On March 21, the Bluegrass Homemakers met at Theresa Mattingly’s beautiful home. Theresa is famous for her shell collection and the many things she makes with them. She gave each of the members a candle containing seashells as a door prize. Click Here For Full Story

Jefferey Couch and Christopher Toney, both of Muldraugh, and Christopher Garcia, Brandenburg, cadets in the Kentucky Bluegrass Youth ChalleNGe Academy, visited the Kentucky State Capitol building in Frankfort on March 20 as part of a special trip to learn about state government.
