Stolen property stash seized

The Meade County Sheriff’s Department has solved a string of burglaries and recovered a treasure trove of stolen property, stored in a 40-foot semi-trailer off Rabbit Run Road in Flaherty.

Fair Time Fun

Board plans July 17-24 event

A new beef and auction barn, a new headquarters for emergency responders, live entertainment on Monday night and a remote-controlled pull are some highlights for the July 17-24 Meade County Fair.

Fair manager David Pace outlined these changes and more during the organization’s annual superintendents recognition dinner, held March 11 at the Extension office.
