Elementary Chefs Wow Judges During Competition

here was plenty of excitement being cooked up by elementary school students at the second annual Super Star Chef “Chopped” competition on July 18.  Hosted at the Meade County Cooperative Extension Office, children from Ekron, David T. Wilson, Payneville, and Flaherty Elementary schools put their cooking skills to the test, and prepared an appetizer and dessert for guest judges Rhonda Roberts of Momma Rob’s Bakery, Sara Talbott, and Katie Hager, editor of the Meade County Messenger.
