Greenwave Lets One Slip Away

On December 29, the Meade County High School Greenwave basketball team took on the Raiders from Trinity high school. The Raiders jumped out quickly over the Greenwave, taking a seven-point lead using their outside shooting abilities. It wasn’t until the six-minute mark into the first period that the Greenwave began to get their offense in sync, rattling off a 10-4 -point run over the Raiders, taking a two-point lead. With both teams playing very aggressively, the Greenwave went into their press defense in an attempt to force the Raiders into making mistakes as they brought the ball up the court. Both teams traded the lead back and forth right up to the last second in the first period.
