Records Fall as MCHS Swimmers Qualify for State

February 8-9, the Meade County High School Swim team headed south on a long bus ride to the Russell County Natatorium, located in Russell Springs, to compete in the Region 3 Championships with hopes of qualifying for a chance to swim at the KHSAA state Swim Meet. This year’s team has a host of raw talent on both the girls’ and boys’ teams. The swimmers’ focus during the entire season is to do well at region, while trying to secure a spot to swim at the state meet. The MCHS swim team, has been getting better with each meet they compete in, and picked a great time to be peak as Regionals got underway.
