Ladywave Defense Swats the Lady Hornets

The Ladywave basketball team closed out their regular season play tied for the number one seed in District 11 with the Breckinridge County Lady Tigers. To break that tie, it came down to a coin flip to see who got the number one seed. As luck would have it, the Ladywave lost the coin flip, seeding them as number two in the District 11 tournament, which began on Feb. 18 in Cloverport. Based on the seeding, that pitted them against the number three seed Hancock County Lady Hornets.
