St. John’s Youth Ministry Spends a Night in Cardboard Boxes
To say that the St. John’s Apostle Catholic Church youth group had an eventful weekend is an understatement. On April 19, the youth group got to experience the realities of being homeless to raise awareness for poverty and homelessness in the community. To do this, they created a cardboard village: a “village” made out of cardboard boxes in which they slept in overnight.
