Radiant Church Backpack Outreach a Success in 2019

For the fourth year in a row, Radiant Church has conducted its Community Backpack Outreach just before school starts. Radiant Church, located at 636 Broadway in Brandenburg, is a Christ-centered church that believes in serving this community.
“Four years ago some of our members wondered what kind of outreach would best help our community—especially the children,” explained Aleah Foushee, the program’s coordinator. “We felt that every child deserves to have a new backpack and supplies to start the school year with. Many parents struggle to meet the immediate needs of their families and can’t afford new supplies. So, that’s why we stepped in to help.”
