Thompson’s tools are a cut above the competition

If you want something done right, do it yourself.
That was the attitude of Jessy Thompson, 27, about four years ago when he made his first knife. Being an avid outdoorsman, he wanted a higher-quality filet knife that would work well and last.
“A lot of the cheap stuff you buy just isn’t that good,” said Thompson. “I just decided one day that I wanted to make a filet knife for myself, and it blew up from there.”
