County pays tribute to fallen deputy

Candles are raised during the singing of “God Bless America” at the vigil held in honor of Deputy Chris Hulsey on Sept. 24. Hulsey, 46, passed away on Sept. 21. In addition to being a Sheriff’s Deputy, Hulsey had also served his community as a paramedic, assistant fire chief and Brandenburg City Council member.
